So Christmas went well; lots of fun with the kids (we also got in some swimming, sledding, and skating) but just before New Years Eve the skating didn't go well and Neela fell on her chin while ice skating. Her helmet didn't protect a face plant....annnnnnnd once again we had to take a child to the ER for stitches. But Neela was a trooper and let them stitch up her chin without a fuss. Unfortunately the impact also resulted in concussion so it was a rough few days following.
New Year 2015....we had high hopes for another great year, but things haven't started off well (sad family events). We are trucking along with one of our busiest months, adding swimming lessons to our full schedule. 3 times a week at the pool is a lot, but we will be done by the end of February.

To top off 2014, some of my professional achievements: 2 award nominations, 2 wins, and one very prestigious certification. Whew.
