Halloween 2015

Our family always enjoys Halloween.  I was slow to get into this year, but as the date drew near everyone started to get excited and new efforts emerged.

Pumpkin carving - the kids still don't like doing it (touching the 'goo')....so Nigel and I end up doing most of the work.  Neela created a silly face and Ashton wanted a cat.

As usual, we all dress up at our house on Halloween:

Neela was a Monster High Doll Frankie-stein and her friend joined as a Gumball Machine (which she made herself).

Ashton wanted to be a black bat. He simply loves masks and adding some little bat wings was easy peasy.

My sister was Little Red Riding Hood

Nigel went for a chill look.....

And I kept it traditional and colorful

The morning before Halloween I saw segment on the news about Halloween technologies.  I showed it to Nigel and boom we were off.  We spent the night before Halloween pulling things together to have a high-image display at our house.

Some of the images:

Originally tried things out at our front door window - and it was good....but we wanted more people to see it......

So we moved the image upstairs.....

The result = the most kids we have EVER gotten at our house (and this is our 11th Halloween).  We drew an impressive crowd outside on our street and had a ton of people come to our door asking how it was done. Honestly, it was a simple concept but it packed a big/fun punch.  We already have plans in the works for next year!

These videos were taking from inside looking out.....

This one was taken from the street the night before Halloween (we had an indoor light on).  I had a hard time getting a video outside on Halloween night as I was interrupted so much.
