Ray of Sunshine

Although our home is not in any jeopardy due to the recent flooding, it has a been an emotionally draining week.  There will be long term impact throughout the city because of the events....lots of people we know are displaced or without power.....schools may not return for the year...several of my family members work in the downtown core and may be away from work for awhile...even my own business will likely see the impact from this.

But.....Neela's dance school made the tough call to proceed with her end of year show, despite the city's challenge.  Some parents were unhappy, but we welcomed the distraction and we know Neela worked hard all year for this moment.  She did great, as usual!
