Last weekend I had my annual girl's getaway with friends Lise and Molly.
Similar to last year we blocked off time to shop, eat, drink and relax together. Unfortunately obligations kept us from leaving the city as originally planned, but we made the most of our two days and stayed on the Gold floor at the Palliser downtown. We shopped the core, had a heavenly lunch at Divino's, spent hours at the Art Market, and then holed up together for an evening of food and wine in the Gold Lounge, watching the sun set over the mountains.

After returning home Nigel surprised me by inviting all of my family over to celebrate my "22nd" birthday - he even ordered me a custom cake. It was the perfect way to end my weekend. =)
