Roller Girl

This month Neela's school hosted an in-line skating program, where every child got to learn how to rollerblade.  We were not sure how well Neela would do (it was her first time on these types of skates) but the program was well designed to suit the needs of all different learners, and Neela loved it. 

Last night - to officially end the week long program - the school hosted a skating party for parents and kids.  We all went, and both Neela and I laced up to skate while Nigel and Ashton watched. 

We have got to say....Neela shocked us with her newfound skills!  She put on the skates and shot off....I basically just trailed behind her all night. She is awesome on skates!
