Well, the New Year hasn't been that great so far. Both Ashton and I have a cold that we have been battling this past week....making it tough for anyone to get any rest around here. Things finally seem to be looking up though (fingers crossed) after a rough couple days and nights.
We 'celebrated' the new year at our friends house the evening of December 31st...if you call celebrating hanging out until 730pm and then jetting home to put our two cranky kids to bed. Nigel and I turned in shortly after and only saw the new year when we were up catering to the kids in the wee hours of the night. Oh well, such is the life of tired parents.
Nigel returns to work tomorrow and it will be back to the ole routine for all of us. Time to officially start 2010! I hope the year ahead is good to our family and brings about many new and exciting things. I think it will be hard to top 2009 though. A new family member and a load of accomplishments made 2009 a very full and successful year.
