Hip Hop

Neela's school had a new artist in residence this month - a hip hop performer.  What a neat experience for the kids!  The kids showed off their new skills in a mini show yesterday (it was a packed performance!); the biggest takeaway for me was how every single kid was so fully involved and enthusiastic about the experience. Impressive how this one young man managed to capture and encourage the kids attention.

As mentioned, the show was packed!  There was standing room only for us attendees and I was near the back so it was hard to get a good photo.  Every grade performed their own unique song/dance. Here are the Grade Two's:
