Neela has wanted to play soccer for a few years now, but we have never been able to get her registered on time or fit it into our schedules (even now this is proving a challenge as they play two nights a week, but we are giving it a try).
Last night was Neela's first practice and game. Her team - The Cobra's - caught on quickly and Neela was right in there! Although they didn't win, they played very well and she came out super excited. We were a bit worried that Neela would be the smallest player in the group, as this is a team of 6 to 8 year olds - but she fit right in.
