It was another beautiful summer Saturday, so off we went for a trip to the zoo. Neela loved the new carousel and rode on two different 'animals'.

Later that day it was off to our friends' annual backyard bar-b-q.
Always a good time, and the kids had a blast.

Startin early
The highlight of the evening for Neela was playing soccer with the big boys. She was so happy to be invited to play with them, and she is an excellent soccer player.
Ashton had his own fun....and enjoyed the toys, watching the older kids play, and chasing around the poor doggie!
