We have decided to leave our basement reno for a bit longer, and instead focus on a few upgrades around the rest of the house. Nigel installed a new light fixture over our kitchen table last weekend. Love it.
And this weekend, Nigel took on the task of installing a new kitchen sink and faucet. It was quite the project: his first plumbing experience. He did great though.

Figuring things out
New sink and tap are in...and water is running! No leaks! (But it was a long time coming....this project took almost 10 hours total).
No more yucky stainless steel. Black granite instead - much more stylish and sleek.
