The difference between boys and girls

We keep hearing people compare the differences between little boys and little girls, and it will be hard not to do the same.

One of the more popular things I hear is that little boys are more active, more adventerous and more daring. Today I have to agree.

You see, Neela was a very calm baby. She reached her milestones on target but I could plop her down and she would be content to calmly play on her own. She didn't push her boundaries. Ashton on the other hand came out ready to go! He has already mastered holding his head up and can stand when assisted....at nine weeks. He bats at his hanging toys, works at rolling himself over and tries to sit up already. And today...he launched himself out of his baby swing after I plopped him in it while I tended to supper. One minute he was happily swinging in the chair and the next minute he had rocketed himself forward and was hanging out of the chair in a facedown position! It was a bit like the classic movie where the star is seen swinging off a ledge from just one foot, and we all gasp in awe and amazement. Only my gasp was not one of awe and amazement.

Now Ashton is perfectly fine and suffered no damage from his daredevil move. I actually think he enjoyed it. Which definitely worries me the most.
