Team Tom: The Rush of Winter

I have been pretty bad at keeping up with blog posts;not a lot of major things to document these past few months...just regular life whizzing by. I finally offloaded some pictures from our camera (and my trusty cellphone) and realized there were a few notable things that happened these past two months...so here they are:

I won my TORI Award back in October, but it didn't arrive until early this year. This is by far the greatest achievement in my industry (career!) and I am not sure I will ever see another one of these - competition is fierce. Over 300 applicants, which are narrowed down to six nominees per category, and then the top 3 are chosen. It was so exciting just to be nominated, and it is such a pleasure to have an award like this!

One night, just randomly the kids decided to throw Nigel and I a party. Just for fun. They decorated, made us custom party hats, and organized games and crafts. It was a blast! Here we are all together on Neela's bed after the big event!

I may have posted this already...but here we are in Banff at the Hot Springs. Nigel had a week off between jobs (yes, he got a new one!) and we spent lots of family time together.
