Ashton has been waiting all summer for his chance to attend 'school'. Without any real concept of time it has been frustrating waiting...but today was the day.
First thing this morning, all ready to go.
My little boy isn't so little anymore.
He did great today (met his teacher Ms. Woolfrey), but the school makes it easy on us all by letting him attend in smaller intervals for the next week. I am hoping he is able to transition to attending alone, for the full 2.5 hours, without too much trouble. Ashton does have a strong personality that worries me a bit, but I have to remember that his is only 3 years old and we didn't even send Neela to Preschool until she was 4. So good for him! I think the social interaction and learning potential will be invaluable.
