Monty

Neela's class has a special stuffed monkey named Monty that each child gets to bring home for a sleepover. They are supposed to do some fun things together and document their experiences to share with the class. Last Wednesday Neela burst out of her class, eyes bright, with Monty in hand! She couldn't wait to get him home and took her role with him very seriously. Here are some of the things they did together:

Having a nap with Monty. Neela rarely naps, but she was happy to do so with Monty!




Monty joined us for supper one night when Aunty and Uncle visited

They goofed around together.

Neela introduced Monty to her Dad, over the computer. Nigel was working in Asia so Neela would chat with him online....and Monty did too.

And of course...they colored together: a lot!

Overall, it was a good time had by all and one that Neela won't soon forget.
