Well, the last month and a half has whizzed by. I was so busy I forgot to post my month in review, so here it is for February and March combined:
1. I had to give up my weekly workout classes....to focus more on my job. Even with childcare assistance my client wait list continues to expand. It seems for every client I complete another two join the cue. Whew. Nigel, on the other hand, has decided to fully pursue the P90X workouts, involving a nightly workout for the next 90 days. Double whew.
2. My bookclub is now reading 'The Hero's Walk' by Anita Rau Badami. I am only about half way done, but so far it is a good read. I'll let you know if I recommend it once I finish. We meet to discuss it early next month.
3. Neela and Ashton are both growing like weeds and doing well overall. They are suffering from colds this week, so fingers crossed it passes soon.
4. Our childcare provider is working out very well. She is a responsible, fun and friendly young gal who manages both kids with ease. I am hoping to keep her on until the summer...and then I have great plans to take a 'vacation' of sorts from my work. haha. Wishful thinking at this point!
5. Neela attended her first 'sleepover' this month at her friend Eddie's house. Even though she never managed to fall asleep (we pulled the plug at 9pm), it was a great success in her eyes. She had a blast. As it is hard to explain to a three year old what 'sleeping over' really means this trial was a good way for her to explore the idea of it. We hope she will be able to spend a full night with her friend soon.
